This is a Full-Time Payroll Coordinator position, working Monday through Friday (8am-5pm) with some overtime as needed. Job Duties:
· Entering data into appropriate software
· Auditing payroll time in system software
· Accurately inputting employee information such as: W4s, timecards, child support and garnishment deductions into system software
· Running reports/audits and following up for corrective action
· Communicating with managers and employees
· Working with compliance team to stay updated with state and federal regulations
· Provide verbal and written employment verification requests and assist employees with payroll issues
· Identifies ways to improve processes and efficiency; is open to communicating ideas for change
Assist in the implementation of new payroll procedures and policies to improve efficiency and accuracy
Basic Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent education required
· Associates Degree or commensurate experience preferred
· Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
· High attention to detail
· Time and priority management to complete weekly tasks accurately to meet deadlines
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
· Demonstrates capability in working with repetitive tasks
· Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
· Able to work under pressure at times and put in extra time when needed
· Being adaptable to system and processing updates/changes
· Willingness to learn and grow within the department and company
· Deadline driven project management skills
· Organized and highly motivated
